Today's Exactly100: A Different Multiverse

The Social Weather Stations (SWS) released its June 2024 survey, where Vice President Sara Duterte's satisfaction rating dropped by 19 points, a few days after she unleashed a statement attacking President Marcos Jr. and his administration. 

It is doubtful if Duterte and her team would have been dissuaded from releasing their latest screed had they been given advance information about the SWS results. Aside from their aversion to coherence, empathy, or brevity, Duterte the daughter and her team have also exhibited indifference, even contempt, for surveys, unless the results favor them. They seem to inhabit a different multiverse. /Joey Salgado
