Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz is again setting social media ablaze.

After her glorious victory in the Tokyo Olympics, Diaz posted a video from her quarantine facility where she made a pitch for her “ideal” candidate.

Says Diaz: “Ang iboboto ko, yung pinuno na may pusong winner, hindi pusong talunan; ‘yung maka-Diyos at makatao, hindi makasarili; ‘yung magbibigay ng kalinga, hindi takot. Kayo rin, di ba?”

As expected, netizens are quarreling over the identity of Diaz’s “ideal” candidate.

The video was posted after Diaz paid a virtual courtesy call on President Duterte in Malacañang. During the call , the President asked Diaz to “let bygones be bygones.”

Diaz had been included in a “matrix” of personalities allegedly involved in a plot oust the President, which she vehemently denied.

After returning from Tokyo, Diaz told media she has already forgiven Palace officials and those who bashed and threatened her.
