Today’s Exactly100: Another Day

Another American veto. 

Another delay to the crucial ceasefire that would’ve stopped the suffering and bloodshed in Gaza. It’s obvious that the urgency for an immediate halt to hostilities is not a priority of the U.S. Government. It’s pretty obvious too that saving one child from Israel’s relentless bombardment of Gaza does not figure in the calculus of Old Man Joe, who probably has to please various lobby and interest groups to get re-elected. For Palestinian women and children, it’s another day of starvation, sickness, hopelessness and death.

…another night of waiting in the dark for the bombs to fall. /mdm
