We are an archipelago of thousands of islands with salt water encircling and ambling through, but we now import salt.

The International Rice Research Institute is here, but we now not only import rice, we have become the world's biggest rice importer.

There were shocking shortages in rice, sugar, salt, onions, garlic during this administration.

Inflation shot up. There have been faster year-on-year increases in the prices of rice, corn, flour, and bread*. And let's not talk about fuel prices. 'Pagpag' is now a robust cottage industry.

Inflation is even worse for the bottom 30% income households.
