When the U.S. vetoed a U.N. Security Council resolution calling for a ceasefire in Gaza, not once but thrice, it consigned the Palestinian population of Gaza to the horrors of Israel’s barbarous attacks, killing at last count more than 26,000, over 11,000 babies and children.
Now that the ICJ has issued a provisional restraint on Israeli bloodlust while hearing the case of genocide against it, another U.N. resolution calling for a ceasefire will surely follow. We expect the United States, flaunting its adherence to international law and order, to rein in its killer veto.
Damn if it does not. /mdm
