
It comes from that “lookit! lookit!” instinct — seeing something and wanting to share it. I read off screens, so this reflex is easily fed: every publication lets you share whatever made you laugh, stew, sigh, seethe in seconds. You can’t share from physical newspapers – no buttons to click.
It’s a desire to affect and infect. “If I can get the young to think twice about working abroad…” “…engender love for country…”“…help expose and correct wayward institutions like the church…”
Sigh. The agenda only grows longer as you grow older. Age stretches the list of things you ache to change. /Vincent R. Pozon
