The family of basketball legend Robert Jaworski Sr. has issued a statement allaying concerns over his health condition.
In a Facebook post, the family clarified that Jaworski has not been infected with COVID-19, but recuperating from a blood abnormality discovered in 2016.
He is finding it difficult to regain “his strength, weight, and normal well-being,” the statement said.
“Despite this, he is making good progress and is slowly moving forward,” it added.
