We have all seen the cartoons where they have a man inside a vending machine doing what’s required. Precious insight behind this campaign execution is that most of us don’t know how the contraption works, how it obeys, finds and lets loose the product desired. We hear the whirring and the snapping, we watch as it vibrates, and then delivers the Coke or pack or whatever item you slammed that square plastic switch for.
Our ignorance is the spring for the magic behind this campaign. And we allow it -- "every Coke vending machine houses an entire world of bizarre species that go through heck and back to make sure the customer gets their happiness."
Enjoy!
"The ad, created by Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam, shows animated characters who make Coca-Cola in a magical land inside the vending machine and in the latest version, both the human purchaser and the Happiness Factory workers are tired and in need of the uplifting effect of a Coke." -The Guardian
