The Solo Parent
On Mothers' Day, I am always reminded of those who, by default, design or demise of their husbands, become mother and father to their children. They provide as well as nurture, become both bedrock and heart – poste at ilaw ng pamilya. I know many, and I honor and celebrate these amazing women. While we salute mothers in general, let us be louder in our praise for mothers who are home alone.
