Today's Exactly100: EDSA Sayang

The holiday rush is in full swing. But in this season of joy, we are witnessing a battle royale between the two highest officials of the land.

By all indications, Vice President Sara Duterte and her supporters are determined to fight the administration in court and on the streets. But the call for a so-called people power at EDSA has not resulted in massive crowds. 

The turnout is pathetic. It is not even a spontaneous display of outrage but a “hakot” crowd promised money and food. Sayang naman. A bigger turnout would have meant more business for a nearby mall. /Joey Salgado
